India, Aug. 13 -- The country that I live in, the UAE, consistently ranks high on safety indices, and as a long-time resident here, I can vouch for the safety this place offers women on its streets, even at midnight. The fact that I do not have to look over my shoulder, wary of stalkers, or worry about being groped in a crowded metro makes this a haven of peace and protection for women.
