India, Sept. 23 -- Actor Parineeti Chopra, who is making her web series debut with Netflix crime thriller "Shaque", says she had been keen to explore the format and become part of the binge-watching culture.

The series, which starts streaming on Thursday, features Chopra as a mother searching for her missing child.

"I just wanted to do a series; it was just a new format for me that I had not explored. I had done reality shows, films, I wanted to do this new format, this series thing. I wanted to be part of the binge-watching culture," Chopra told PTI.

The actor said she had been in discussions with Netflix for some time before finding the right project. She counts "Game of Thrones" and "Narcos" among her favourite shows on the platform...
