India, May 5 -- Vijay, chief of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK),chaired a meeting of newly elected party MLAs following the party's strong performance in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026.

The meeting comes a day after TVK emerged as the single-largest party with 108 seats. Vijay received an enthusiastic welcome at the party headquarters, where many first-time MLAs gathered after their electoral debut.

During the session, discussions focused on electing the legislature party leader and outlining the conduct of MLAs in the Assembly. Party leaders also deliberated on strategies for government formation.
