India, July 15 -- Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office to two newly elected members of the Rajya Sabha at Parliament House in New Delhi on Tuesday. The oath-taking ceremony marked their formal entry into the Upper House of Parliament, enabling them to begin their legislative responsibilities.

The ceremony was attended by several Union ministers, Members of Parliament, and senior officials. The newly elected MPs took the oath in accordance with parliamentary procedures before assuming their roles in the Rajya Sabha. With their induction, the House moves closer to filling vacancies created after recent elections and retirements.
