Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reviews Char Dham Yatra 2026 preparations
India, June 2 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the ongoing arrangements for the Char Dham Yatra 2026, as the pilgrimage moves into its more challenging second phase marked by increased footfall, weather-related risks, and logistical pressure on mountain routes.
During the meeting, CM Dhami took stock of preparations across key departments including tourism, health, police, disaster management, and transport. Officials briefed him on the current status of crowd management systems, registration data, medical preparedness, and road connectivity along the four sacred shrines-Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
