New Delhi, Aug. 2 -- ndia's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday reaffirmed that the country's decisions on defence procurement and energy sourcing are guided by its own national interests and strategic considerations.
Speaking at a regular media briefing, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "The sourcing of our defence requirements is determined solely by our national security imperatives and strategic assessments." He added that India selects energy sources based on market availability and the prevailing global situation.
