US Navy jets collide mid-air during Idaho Air Show
India, May 18 -- 2 United States Navy fighter jets collided mid-air during an aerial demonstration at the Gunfighter Skies Air Show in Idaho, triggering a massive fireball after both aircraft crashed to the ground.
The incident took place near Mountain Home Air Force Base during a live performance involving two EA-18G Growler aircraft from Electronic Attack Squadron 129 based in Washington.
Dramatic videos shared online captured the moment the jets appeared to come dangerously close before colliding in the sky. The aircraft were then seen spiralling downward together before crashing and exploding on impact, sending thick black smoke into the air.
