Gurugram, Aug. 27 -- Union Minister of State Rao Inderjeet Singh on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for a series of infrastructure projects worth about Rs 282 crore on the Gurugram-Jaipur section of National Highway-48. The ceremony, held at Apparel House in Sector-44, Gurugram, was attended by Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Corporate Affairs Harsh Malhotra. The projects were launched digitally.

The development package includes the construction of four new flyovers, nine modern foot overbridges, widening of service roads and improvement of drainage systems. Officials said these measures will decongest traffic and enhance safety for commuters in Gurugram

and Rewari.
