India, Aug. 6 -- The Centre on Wednesday approved key foreign postings, including those in Washington-based International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Asian Development Bank in the Philippines, among others.

Senior bureaucrat Satyajit Mohanty, currently working as Joint Secretary in the Defence Ministry, has been appointed to the post of Representative of India in the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Montreal, Canada for three years, a Personnel Ministry order said.

Rahul Jain, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has been named Senior Adviser to the Executive Director (India), International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington DC, USA for a period of three years, it said.
