Udhayanidhi Stalin accuses Congress of 'Betrayal', says DMK should never trust party again
India, May 24 -- A major political controversy has emerged in Tamil Nadu after DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin launched a sharp attack on Congress, accusing the party of betraying the DMK and urging party workers not to trust it again.
Speaking at a party meeting, Udhayanidhi claimed that Congress had "stabbed the DMK in the back" despite benefiting from the alliance in previous elections.
According to reports, his remarks were linked to Congress extending support to Vijay-led TVK in recent political developments.
