India, Aug. 9 -- Two people were killed and another seriously injured after a speeding scooter rammed into a Canter truck parked on the Dwarka Expressway flyover without reflectors or indicators, police said Sunday, August 9.

The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. Saturday near BPTP Society, when the scooter, carrying two women and a man, crashed into the rear of the stationary truck, police said.

According to a complaint filed by commuter Pankaj Swami, the Canter was parked in the middle of the flyover without any road safety equipment, including reflectors, cones or emergency lights. Due to darkness and the sudden appearance of the truck, the scooter rider failed to spot it and crashed into its rear, the complaint alleged.
