India, July 26 -- Police on Sunday, July 26, arrested two alleged interstate drug traffickers and seized nearly 100 grams of MDMA from their possession at Vazhikadavu in this district, officials said.

The arrested men were identified as Saifudheen (38), a native of Manappatta, and Riyas Ali (32), a resident of Krumbalangode, both in Malappuram district.

According to the police, the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force received information that the duo was travelling from Bengaluru with a large quantity of narcotic drugs.

Acting on the tip-off, the DANSAF team intercepted their car near Anamari in Vazhikadavu at around 1 am on Sunday.
