India, July 12 -- Nepal police have arrested three drug dealers, including two Indian nationals, in Rupandehi district, police said on Saturday.

Iqbal Khan, 50, a resident of Amethi Musafirkhana, UP and Ram Dayal Sharma, 34, a resident of Siddharthanagar Thana, Chatara and Sarajuddin Musalman, 24, a resident of Lumbini Municipality, Rupandehi district in Nepal, were arrested on Friday during an operation, according to a statement by Nepal Police.

The Anti-Narcotic Bureau of Nepal Police in Kathmandu carried out an operation based on a tip-off, it said.

Police said that one of the Indian nationals opened fire during the operation. Iqbal Khan sustained a bullet injury below the knee of his left leg during the cross-firing.
