India, May 25 -- Actor Twisha Sharma was cremated on Sunday, 12 days after her death under suspicious circumstances in Bhopal. The last rites were performed at Bhadbhada crematorium, where her brother, Major Harshit, lit the funeral pyre amid emotional scenes as family members broke down in grief.

Earlier in the day, a team of doctors from AIIMS Delhi conducted a second post-mortem examination on Twisha's body at AIIMS Bhopal. The procedure lasted for nearly three hours, following which the medical team left for Delhi. Officials said samples and viscera collected during the examination have been preserved at AIIMS Bhopal, while the final report will be submitted in a sealed envelope.
