India, May 24 -- The Twisha Sharma death case has taken another important turn after a team of doctors from AIIMS Delhi arrived in Bhopal to conduct a second autopsy.

Twisha's father, Navnidhi Sharma, expressed hope that the fresh examination would help reveal the truth and bring justice to his daughter.

The second post-mortem was ordered by the Madhya Pradesh High Court after the family raised concerns and sought a re-examination of the earlier findings.

The court stated that the decision was aimed at ensuring transparency and strengthening public confidence in the investigation process.

A four-member medical board from AIIMS Delhi has been assigned to conduct the examination.
