India, April 5 -- US President Donald Trump has warned Iran that it has 48 hours to avoid serious consequences, reiterating the deadline from his March 26 ultimatum. He had earlier given Tehran 10 days to either strike a deal or reopen the Strait of Hormuz."Remember when I gave Iran ten days to make a deal or open up the Hormuz Strait. Time is running out - 48 hours before all hell will reign down on them," he wrote on social media.The latest ultimatum revives his earlier deadline, first issued in late March, when he demanded that Iran either reach an agreement with Washington or allow unimpeded passage through the key maritime route.
