India, June 5 -- In a heartbreaking incident from Telangana's Miryalaguda area, a grandmother and her two grandchildren were burnt alive after a fire broke out in their house at Kalalwadi locality late Thursday night. The tragedy comes just a month after the children had lost their father, deepening the family's grief.

The deceased have been identified as Chandrakala (45), and her grandchildren Lakshman (16) and Pranathi (14). According to reports, the children's father had died a month earlier, after which their mother Dhanamma moved to Pune in search of livelihood, leaving the children under the care of their grandmother.
