India, March 8 -- Vehicular movement in several parts of North Delhi is expected to be affected on Sunday morning as traffic restrictions come into force for a large public event at the DDA Utsav Sthal, officials said.
According to the Delhi Traffic Police, an official function organised by the Delhi Development Authority is scheduled to take place at the venue. During the programme, several housing projects and new sections of the Delhi Metro are expected to be inaugurated.
Authorities estimate that around 25,000 people will attend the event. To manage the large gathering and ensure security arrangements, traffic restrictions will remain in place between 7.30 am and 2 pm in the surrounding areas.
