India, March 17 -- The Delhi Police on Saturday apprehended three minors in connection with the alleged inappropriate conduct involving a seven-year-old girl in South-East Delhi's Okhla Industrial Area. The police managed to resolve the sensitive POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case within hours of receiving a distress call.
The incident came to light on March 14, 2024, when a PCR call was made to the Okhla Industrial Area police station. According to the victim's statement, the distressing situation unfolded over two days: March 12 and 13. The seven-year-old girl reported that the three boys persuaded her to go to a godown near her residence in Okhla Phase-II during the daytime.
