India, July 14 -- Three men have been arrested in Karnataka's Mangaluru for allegedly helping undocumented Bangladeshi nationals secure jobs at construction sites. According to the police, the arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into a network suspected of facilitating employment for foreign nationals staying in India without valid documents.

Authorities said the accused allegedly connected workers with contractors and arranged jobs at multiple construction projects in the city.

The action follows recent police verification drives in Mangaluru that led to the detention of several Bangladeshi nationals suspected of residing and working in the country without valid travel or immigration documents.
