India, Sept. 10 -- A major accident was narrowly averted on the city's outskirts on Thursday, September 10, after a TGSRTC bus veered off the road and crashed into a petrol bunk at Batasingaram in Abdullapurmet, damaging vehicles and fuel dispensing equipment. No injuries were reported.

The bus, belonging to the Dilsukhnagar depot, was headed towards Choutuppal when the driver reportedly lost control around 11 am while trying to avoid an auto-rickshaw, Asianet Newsable reported.

Overspeeding is also being examined as a possible factor, according to Telangana Today.
