India, July 19 -- The national Capital saw a slight decrease in the maximum and minimum temperatures on Saturday.

A yellow alert has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for Sunday, warning of light rain, along with hot and humid conditions.

Safdarjung, representative of the city's weather, recorded a maximum temperature of 38.2 degrees Celsius on Saturday, three degrees above the normal and a 0.6 degree decrease from the day before. The minimum temperature was logged at 30.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees above the normal and a 0.8 degree drop from the day before.
