India, June 2 -- A 17-year-old boy who was shot in the head in Delhi's Amar Colony last week succumbed to his injuries on Monday, prompting police to add murder charges to the case.

Sai Kumar, a Class 12 student of Blue Bells School, died around 11.45 am after remaining on ventilator support since the May 26 shooting. His body has been kept at AIIMS, where a post-mortem examination is expected on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police arrested two more accused in connection with the case. The accused have been identified as Yash Bidhuri, a resident of Tughlakabad, and Jai Kumar. With the latest arrests, three people, including a juvenile, have been apprehended so far.
