TCS Pune Employee Suicide Case: Police probe workplace harassment allegations
India, June 13 -- Police have launched an investigation into the death of a Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) employee in Pune after allegations of workplace harassment surfaced in a suicide note left by the deceased. Authorities said a case has been registered and further inquiries are underway.
The deceased, identified as 48-year-old Amit Brahme, allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Bhosari on June 2. Based on a complaint filed by his son, police have booked three individuals, including two TCS employees, under charges of abetment to suicide.
