India, June 23 -- The Tamil Nadu Assembly witnessed dramatic scenes on Monday after Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay launched a sharp attack on the DMK during a heated debate, triggering protests and a walkout by opposition members.

The confrontation escalated when Vijay criticised the previous DMK government over governance and corruption issues. During his speech, the Chief Minister also mimicked DMK president and former Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, drawing strong objections from opposition legislators.
