New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- Country's low-cost carrier-SpiceJet has finalised a lease agreement for five additional Boeing 737 aircraft, further bolstering its fleet in preparation for the upcoming winter travel season. The new aircraft will be inducted under damp lease arrangements, with most set to join the fleet in October 2025, and a few arriving several weeks earlier.
The lease term extends through May 2026, allowing the airline to serve not only peak winter demand but also carry the capacity through the early summer travel season next year.
