India, July 5 -- A hit-and-run incident captured on CCTV has sparked outrage in Gujarat's Lunawada town after a speeding car allegedly struck two women before the driver fled the scene without offering any help.

The accident occurred on a residential road, where the women were walking when the vehicle lost control and rammed into them. Both victims suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The CCTV footage of the incident has since surfaced online, showing the high-speed vehicle hitting the women before speeding away.
