India, Feb. 13 -- Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Thursday inaugurated a book stall showcasing the commemorative coffee table book "Shatabdi-Yatra: Vithalbhai Ki Gaurav Gatha" at the Delhi University Literature Festival. The DU Literature festival is going to be held from February 12 to 14 at the Sports Multipurpose Hall, University of Delhi.

Addressing students and visitors at the festival, Gupta said the book is a tribute to Vithalbhai Patel, the first Indian to preside over the Central Legislative Assembly. "Vithalbhai Patel was not merely the first Indian to preside over the Central Legislative Assembly. 'Shatabdi-Yatra' reflects his courage, constitutional vision, and commitment to parliamentary autonomy," he said.
