India, April 9 -- Delhi Police have solved a double murder case in Dwarka, arresting a man accused of killing his father and uncle, allegedly for financial gain and a government job.

The accused, identified as Ishwar, was arrested for the murder of his father, Devender Kumar, 50, and uncle Amit, 48, inside a flat in Uttam Nagar. Police said the crime was driven by greed for nearly Rs 50 lakh and the prospect of securing a government job on compassionate grounds.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dwarka, Kushal Pal Singh, said police received a call about a disturbance on the night of April 3. "Around 11.30 pm, information was received about a quarrel. The next day, both men were found dead, and the accused was missing," he said.
