India, June 3 -- Shots were fired outside the popular coaching institute run by educator and YouTuber Khan Sir in Bihar's Patna, leaving a security guard injured and triggering protests by students, officials said.

The incident reportedly took place near Musallahpur Haat, where unidentified miscreants opened fire and carried out stone-pelting and vandalism outside the coaching centre. The injured guard is currently receiving treatment, police confirmed.

Following the incident, large groups of students gathered outside the institute, demanding strict action and enhanced security arrangements. Heavy police deployment was made in the area to maintain law and order.
