New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member States have issued a resounding condemnation of the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, marking a significant diplomatic rebuke aimed at Pakistan. The statement was part of the Tianjin Declaration, adopted during the Council of Heads of State meeting at the ongoing SCO summit in China.
"The Member States strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April 2025. They expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the dead and the wounded. They further stated that perpetrators, organisers and sponsors of such attacks must be brought to justice," the declaration read.
