India, Feb. 11 -- The Supreme Court has directed CBI to investigate the role/involvement of senior bank officials in sanctioning loans to the defaulting company in the matter of Reliance Communication Ltd.
The Supreme Court, in its order dated February 4, 2026, has directed the CBI to investigate the role of senior officials of the banks who had sanctioned loans to Reliance Communication Ltd. (RCOM).
The court, in its order, directed the CBI to investigate the conduct of the bank's authorities to determine whether the loans were released in collusion and connivance with the management of the defaulting company.
