India, July 1 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has called for introspection within the party following recent political setbacks and defections, saying loyal party workers should never be taken for granted. Speaking to reporters, Raut stressed that the need for self-assessment extended beyond the leadership to the entire organisation as it prepares for future political challenges.

Raut said the party must examine whether certain individuals were given excessive opportunities and positions of power, only to later abandon the organisation.
