Sainik Welfare, Assam contributes Rs 25 lakh to CM's relief fund
India, July 31 -- In a significant gesture of solidarity and public service, the Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Assam has contributed Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to support ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts across the State of Assam, especially for those affected by the recent devastating floods in Upper Assam.
The contribution reflects the veterans' fraternity of Assam's continued commitment to serving society even after their years of distinguished service in the armed forces.
