India, July 6 -- At least 10 people were killed and 46 others injured after Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, earlier today, authorities said. The overnight assault struck residential areas across the city, leaving several buildings damaged or destroyed and trapping residents under the rubble.

According to Kyiv City Military Administration chief Tymur Tkachenko, a residential building in the Podilskyi district partially collapsed after sustaining a direct hit, while multiple high-rise apartment buildings in the Darnytsia district were also severely damaged. Rescue teams continued search operations through the debris in an effort to locate survivors.
