India, May 24 -- Russia carried out one of its largest missile attacks on Ukraine, using several advanced weapons systems including Oreshnik, Iskander, Kinzhal, and Zircon missiles in a major overnight operation. Russian authorities described the strikes as a response to alleged Ukrainian attacks on civilian targets inside Russian territory.

Reports indicate that the attack also involved a large wave of drones, making it one of the biggest combined aerial assaults seen during the conflict. Ukraine stated that approximately 90 missiles and around 600 drones were launched during the operation, with Kyiv and nearby regions among the major targets.
