India, Aug. 2 -- Hailing HYDRAA's efforts to revive Hyderabad's lakes, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday said the state government would protect them and "every inch" of public land.

Responding to HYDRAA's social media post on Nalla Cheruvu in Uppal, being replenished by the recent rains, Reddy said it gave him immense satisfaction to see Hyderabad's lakes coming back to life.

He lauded officials of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency for their efforts to revive Nalla Cheruvu.

"Safeguarding lakes does not mean just protecting water bodies. It also means securing the future of the coming generations. We will move ahead by protecting every lake and safeguarding every inch of public property," he...
