India, July 13 -- The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust invited applications for the post of the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Interested candidates can submit their applications until 4 pm on July 18.

The appointment process comes amid recent allegations of financial irregularities involving temple funds and valuables. Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra said the trust will determine the CEO's powers and responsibilities, adding that the key role of the officer will be to uphold devotees' faith in the trust.
