India, April 9 -- In a shocking incident, employees of a well-known Rajkot-based jewellery firm, KV and Sons, were robbed of gold worth approximately Rs 25 crore in Patna by a gang posing as customs officials.

According to reports, two employees, Mahesh Mamtora and Prince Ranpariya, had travelled from Rajkot to deliver a consignment of gold jewellery. Upon arriving at Danapur railway station in Patna, they were intercepted by around eight individuals arriving in cars and motorcycles. The accused allegedly identified themselves as officials from the customs department and demanded to verify invoices and documents related to the gold consignment.
