India, Aug. 3 -- Punjab BJP chief Kewal Singh Dhillon on Sunday announced the appointment of new office bearers for the State unit, saying it is aimed at further strengthening the party's organisational structure in the State.

The appointments were announced following the approval of BJP national president Nitin Nabin.

The party announced 12 state vice presidents - Surjit Kumar Jyani (Fazilka), Rakesh Rathour (Jalandhar), Subhash Sharma (SAS Nagar), Manjit Singh Rai (Ferozepur), Ashwani Sekhri (Batala), Sushil Rinku (Jalandhar), Geja Ram Valmiki (Fatehgarh Sahib), Tejinder Singh Bittu (Jalandhar), Jasmine Sandhawalia (Kapurthala), Jatinder Mittal (Ludhiana), Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon (Gurdaspur) and Ranjit Singh Gill (Mohali).
