India, June 24 -- What was initially believed to be a tragic trekking accident at Maharashtra's Lohagad Fort has now emerged as a chilling murder case, with Pune Rural Police alleging that real estate businessman Ketan Agarwal was killed as part of a pre-planned conspiracy involving his fiancee, Siya Goyal, and her alleged partner, Chetan Chaudhary.

Investigators said several clues helped unravel the case, including CCTV footage showing a man wearing a hoodie despite the June heat trailing Agarwal and Goyal during their visit to the fort. Police also found inconsistencies in Goyal's statements, prompting a deeper probe into the circumstances surrounding the 26-year-old's death.
