India, Feb. 9 -- Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Sunday said that power and public office derive their true meaning only when they are rooted in service and compassion. The Speaker was addressing a large spiritual gathering at the Jain Teerth Veeroday Nirman Vihar in the national capital.
Gupta was the chief guest at the Panch Kalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav, held for the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Rishabhdev, the first Tirthankara and Vishwakarma of Jain philosophy.
