India, July 22 -- Delhi Police has intensified its crackdown on protestors following the violence during the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) march to the Parliament on Monday, registering six FIRs and detaining nearly 100 people as investigators continue to identify those involved through CCTV footage, drone videos and other digital evidence.

Police officials said those detained so far are not students and that all the FIRs have been registered against unknown persons.

The cases have been lodged at Parliament Street, Connaught Place and other police stations under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). According to police sources, the FIR filed at Parliament Street cites BNS Sections 223(b), 221, 132, 121(1), 189(3), 190...
