India, Sept. 30 -- The Delhi Police on Monday conducted a "Mega Drug Destruction Event," incinerating a staggering 1,847 kilograms of seized narcotics, valued at approximately 35 crore in the international market. The drive was part of its determined mission to achieve a 'Drug-Free Delhi by 2027'.

Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena inaugurated the destruction drive with the powerful slogan, "Ravan Dahan Se Pehle, Madak Padarthon Ka Dahan" (Destruction of narcotics before the destruction of Ravan).
