New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing previous Governments of undermining the spirit of the Constitution and perpetuating oppressive laws. Taking a swipe at Opposition leaders, the Prime Minister said that those "who dance with a copy of Constitution on their head" had maintained unjust and regressive laws while in power, trampling the spirit of the Constitution.

Addressing the gathering after the inauguration of two national highway projects in the national Capital - the Delhi section of the Dwarka Expressway and the Urban Extension Road-II to unclog the congestion, PM Modi alleged that "those who dance with the Constitution on their heads" had "trampled" it and "...
