PM Modi urges youth to expand Olympic participation
India, Aug. 28 -- A sports enthusiast, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, urged the youth to take up games, quipping, "Screens se zyada, Sports centres ki ahmiyat hai. Play station se zyada, Playgrounds ki ahmiyat hai (Sports centres are more essential than screens and playgrounds are more essential than play stations."
He also said his vision for sports is not merely about winning medals but making it an integral part of the nation-building process.
