India, Oct. 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate a new 650-bed hospital at Sathya Sai Gram in Bengaluru on November 23, marking the 100th birth anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The hospital will have no billing desk with slogan (Srif Dil, No Bill), continuing the Sathya Sai mission's model of providing completely free healthcare.
According to Suchethan Reddy Kotta, CEO and Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai Gram Global Media Outreach and Communication, an official invitation has been sent to the Prime Minister's Office and confirmation of his availability is awaited. "We are confident that Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed hospital during the centenary celebrations," Reddy told The Pioneer.
