India, June 21 -- PM Narendra Modi commissioned three indigenously built naval platforms INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak, and INS Agray at a landmark ceremony in Kolkata, describing the occasion as a major step towards strengthening India's maritime capabilities and defence self-reliance.

He emphasized that the country's development, security, and prosperity are closely linked to the strength of its maritime sector and naval forces.

During his address, the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of indigenous defence manufacturing under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
