India, Nov. 11 -- Century old Quantum Mechanics can explain how a single sub-atomic particle cross the energy barrier through tunneling, be located at multiple places simultaneously, occupies discrete energy levels and emits energy in quanta as it moves from higher energy level to lower energy level.
