India, June 9 -- A Patna court on Tuesday ordered a stay on the arrest of popular educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, until further directions in connection with a case linked to a recent firing incident involving his security personnel.

According to his lawyer, Arvind Kumar Mouar, Khan Sir had been named in an FIR related to an incident in which gunshots were allegedly fired by guards during an attack on his coaching institute earlier this month.

"The court has stayed his arrest till further orders and has directed the police to produce the case diary and other relevant records on the next hearing," Mouar told reporters in Patna.
